1.Are you an agency?

No Limit Journeys is not a Travel Agent nor a Tour Operator. It is a 'travel creator' also called 'travel itinerary designer'.No Limit Journeys products are itineraries mostly purchased by Travel Agencies or Tour Operators which host the itineraries for their own customers. We do work with travelers/explorers directly - so contact us !



2.Where is No Limit Journeys located?

No Limit Journeys has its admin office in Canberra, Australia.

Our business hours - 8am - 6pm, Mon - Sat, GMT+10 -



5.Do you have an office?

Yes we have an office which is located in Canberra, but it is not open to the public as it is only for the administration of the itineraries. For any meeting we come to you, meet at our partner agency or meet in our meeting room in Braddon, Canberra.  We can also do Skype Video calls if we are too far from each other.



6.Payment terms

a.For professionals:  Flat fee/itinerary + royalties/head. Please contact us for more information.

b.For individuals: As we are not a travel agent, we cannot sell you an itinerary direclty. Rather our partner agency hosting your itinerary will receive payments and issues all documentation.

7.Is/are insurance(s) included in the itinerary?

All suppliers used on the ground have to comply with local laws and will have the required insurance.

In some cases some activities can not be covered because insurance do not provide cover for such activities. In that case, it is mentioned and a liability disclaimer will have to be signed by customers should the activity be undertaken.

The cancellation, evacuation, travel or repatriation insurance for example are not included in the itinerary but are the responsibility of the customer.



8.What kind of insurance do i need to travel?

You should purchase a travel insurance or/and an evacuation/repatriation insurance. A cancellation policy could be good should you want to protect yourself from un expected occurrences regarding your planning process.

Be aware that often Credit Cards have such covers included when you purchase services/products with them; refer to your credit card contract for more details.



9.Safety / security

No Limit Journeys take safety very seriously as our journeys are challenging. We minimise risks by identifying them and preparing for them. We perform risk assessments and use those to determine whether an itinerary is safe enough or not. In addition the best is to act mindfully and carefully during the trip. The area is always known to your experienced guide and he/she will adapt the route accordingly. We also know very well the region of the itinerary and keep monitoring all elements that could impact on the journey's safety through our local networks but also using all tools available (travel and geopolitics advisory forums, etc...). We do not hesitate to 'pull the plug' if security or safety conditions are no longer satisfying. But be reminded, your safety and your pleasure is our priority, and it is better to miss out than be sorry.



10.Do you organise Survival Trips?

yes we do and they are 'real survival experiences', not like what you see on TV. You are given a remote location of your choice (remote island, deep tropical forest, taiga, ...) for the duration of your stay and a survival guide to help. For the rest it is up to you; you'll be a changed person when you come out of it !



11.What is No Limit Journeys?

No Limit Journeys is a 'journey creator', 'travel creator' also called 'travel itinerary designer'. No Limit Journeys sales mainly to the Tourism industry's travel agencies. It specialises in designing unique, customised adventures based on special interests, that aim to challenge the intrepid traveller, both mentally and physically.

We are not a travel agency. Rather, we sell itineraries to specialised agencies. We also work with private individuals and groups to tailor packages for them and arrange for one of our partner agencies to host the itinerary.

12.How did you start this?

It all started in 1999 as a non profit expeditions support organisation and turned into a business to answer to a growing adventure travel demand. We have travelled the world in the most amazing fashion and have a serious passion to share what we have discovered. We have as a consequence worked in the most remote and less visited locations in the world. This experience allowed us to provide services to various industries (location scouting for movies, research with technical advice).



13.Is nolimitjourneys.com a secure site?

Nolimitjourneys.com is a secure site. We have taken measures to protect and prevent any loss of data on this site. On this website, no financial transaction is done nor any information is held.

Any data that might be gathered on users is stored and backed up on secure service protected by firewalls and on separate remote locations.

For information our website does not do nor host financial transactions as they happen from bank to bank. See the 'how can i pay ?' section for more information.

All information we receive from you is regulated by our privacy policy.



14.Who organises travel arrangements?

No Limit Journeys set up all the travel arrangements in our tour packages in close cooperation with trusted local suppliers in each of our destinations. Then the travel agent which uses our itinerary implements and manages all the arrangements.

Flights to destination will probably be the only arrangement that we do not set up. But we provide all necessary information to the travel agent to organise flights to this destination.



15.How does the booking process work?

For any booking wether you are a business or a private individual seeking to use our itineraries all booking happen by phone and emails. Any payments happens from bank to bank. The booking will be organised by our partner agency.



16.How far in advance should I book?

All travel arrangements should be at least 30 days in advance so all suppliers can be given enough notice to welcome you in the best conditions.



17.How can I pay for the itinerary?

If you are a business (travel agent / tour operator) all payments will be done by bank transfer.

If you are a private individual, payments will be done via the host agency and can be done by bank transfer and credit card. In that particular case, you fall under the host agency's credit card policy.



18.Do you offer a discount for children?

No we do not offer discount for children, in addition our trips are rarely children friendly. Trips we organise are quite challenging and demanding and we require for most that customer be 21years old at least. Please contact us to verify that your itinerary is child friendly.



19.What currencies do you charge in?

No Limit Journeys prices are all in Australian Dollars (AUD).



20.What happens if I need to change or cancel my tour?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you must change or cancel your travel plans. Cancellation requests must be submitted to us in writing—by e-mail is fine. We regret that we are unable to issue a full refund for cancellations. The cancellation fee generally depends on the length of notice, type of booking and refund policies of our local providers. Unfortunately they vary tremendously and we cannot offer a definite one fit all answer as the itineraries are tailor made. 21.What if one of my scheduled activities is cancelled due to weather conditions?

Most of the time the rule for such cancellation is as follow:

- if this decision is made by the customer (not to participate) then there is no refund, no exchange.

- if the decision is made by the supplier; they will offer refund or an activity swap at no additional cost.



22.What happens if I have an emergency during the journey?

In case of emergency you can contact us at any time at a 24/7 phone number provided with your itinerary confirmation. We also urge you to rely on our local supplier / guide as they are trained and know very well what procedures to implement (medivac, extraction, emergencies, ...)



23.Why aren’t flights included in most itinerary packages?

In most cases airfares are not arranged to or from the destinations because it is generally cheaper for you to book your flights directly with the airlines. This also allows you to take advantage of the airlines’ miles or frequent flyer programs. We recommend that you contact the airlines directly for information about flights and bookings. No Limit Journeys will provide to you the route information to get to the destination. If you need advice, we can inform you about flight options to your destination.



24.Do you arrange Visa(s)

No we do not arrange visa, because we are not a travel agent but also because we do not want to manage the risk of holding your passport.

We can recommend that you use the service of the embassy or a visa service provider.



25.Can anybody go on these trips?

We have on most trips a 21 year old minimum age policy. But each trip is different so please refer to their itinerary presentation and you'll have the right information. Should you doubt, please contact us.



26.Is a medical clearance needed?

Some trips are very very very challenging and demanding. For those demanding journeys, a medical clearance by a travel doctor on our list is compulsory. Failure to provide it will prevent you to travel on that itinerary. Please contact us for more information about the medical clearance.



27.Why do you speak about professional customer and private individuals? What's the difference?

No Limit Journeys is a tourism service provider that endeavours to facilitate access to off the beaten tracks travel itineraries to travel agencies and tour operators. But we also have requests from 'holidayer'. In that particular case as No Limit Journeys is not a travel agent we cannot sell the itinerary to a private individual but a partner travel agent will.



28.Do you have scheduled journeys?

29.Do you tailor journeys?

Yes we do. We love it. We have an extensive questionnaire to help you find out what you are after if you don't know. Otherwise let us know and we will put it together.



30.What are the activities that you organise?

At No Limit Journeys we are very happy trekkers, but we also sail, horse ride, fly helicopter, kayak, mountain bike, 4wdrive, swim, whitewater raft, ski, paraglide, track rare animals, love survival experience and enjoy long time in little huts (like hermits). We also love organising scientific, historical, geographical, photographic expeditions...



31.Why full board package?

Well there is something that we want you to enjoy: your trip! So for that we take off your shoulders and mind all contingency questions. But if you only eat once a day, we will adapt too. Also, if you want to manage some of this yourself we can happily let you do it.



32.Who do you use on the ground?

We use local agencies to implement the logistics and guiding. We select because we have experienced them but also because we know their high level of competencies, efficiency but also and mainly their ability to solve problems. Our local guides know best their region and its intricacies.



33.Do you know your destinations? Why these destinations?

We know each of these destinations because we have been there personally. This is how we build our network of local suppliers too. Each of our trip/itinerary, is an itinerary we have done and tested before. We have extracted the best of them and made a concentrate of goodness!



34.What is an 'extreme journey'  VS an 'expedition journey'

Let's put it this way: an 'extreme journey' is a journey where you'll be in pain, be challenged come out so different you'll quit your job!! It could be a survival experience on a desert island in the pacific or a long walk in the taiga forest. Or why not experience a hut in the middle of Chile like a hermit for a few months?

'Expeditions ' are less intense, more of a quest; they are a long personal process to answer some questions about amazing topics, where we will help you get it right. It can also be simple things like swimming with whale in Tonga or Ski Resort hopping in the alps !

35.Exclusivity?

Yes if you want an exclusive trip we can do it. We can also have time bound exclusivity programs. Up to you.



36.Are these tours self guided?

Most of the tours have a guide to lead them. But some programs might not require it. It is best to refer to the detailed itinerary to confirm otherwise contact us for more details.
